AIPPI Australia Essay Prize 2022

The Australian Group of AIPPI is delighted to invite submissions to the 2022 AIPPI Australia Essay Prize

The Prize: The Prize consists of complimentary registration at AIPPI’s 2022 World Congress, which is to be held in San Francisco in September 2022, together with return flights and accommodation.  Each entrant will also receive a year’s complimentary membership of AIPPI.

Submissions: Essays should be substantive original works of no more than 10,000 words and should address one of the topics, or an aspect of one of the topics, chosen for study at AIPPI’s 2022 World Congress.  The topics this year are:

AIPPI’s Study Guidelines, which are attached above, set out detailed backgrounds for each of these topics.  Submissions should not simply answer the questions set out at the end of each of the Study Guidelines.  Rather, submissions should explore the subject matter, or an aspect thereof, introduced and discussed in each of the Study Guidelines, by reference to Australian or international law.

Due Date: Entries are due by 1 April 2022, and should be submitted to the Secretary of the Australian Group at secretary@aippi.org.au.  Each entry should be accompanied by an abstract of no more than 300 words.

Rules: Please read the AIPPI Essay Prize Rules, before submitting an entry.  All questions regarding the Rules, or the Essay Prize in general, should be submitted to the Secretary of the Australian Group at secretary@aippi.org.au.
