Please join us this Thursday 30 September at 6pm AEST as Marcus Fleming and Wen Wu discuss some recent cases on parody and satire in the context of copyright and trade mark infringement.

Marcus practices in commercial litigation, with a particular focus on intellectual property law (including patents, trade marks and consumer protection, copyright and confidential information).  Marcus is a member of the newly-formed Emmerson Chambers, and was counsel for Redbubble in the Pokemon case. Wen is a barrister practising primarily in intellectual property (including copyright, patents and trade marks) and related areas.

Before coming to the Bar, Wen practised as a solicitor for over 7 years in the IP groups of two leading national firms and a specialist IP firm. Wen was junior counsel for the Universal parties in Universal Music Publishing v Palmer (No 2) [2021] FCA 434.
