Join our speakers Richard Hamer (Partner) and Lauren John (Managing Associate) of Allens.  Richard and Lauren successfully ran the case of Thaler v Commissioner for Dr Thaler.  Australia is now the first country in the world where the courts have recognised artificial intelligence systems as inventors.  They will discuss the legal questions, the policy and the ramifications of Beach J’s decision.

The session will be facilitated by Clare Cunliffe, who appeared as junior counsel for Mr Thaler.
