Upcoming forum

Working guidelines for reports on Questions to be considered at the next Forum & Executive Committee Meeting in Hyderabad, India, are now available at this link .

The Questions are:
Q216B – Exceptions to copyright protection and the permitted uses of copyright works in the hi-tech and digital sectors.
Q217 – The patentability criterion of inventive step non-obviousness.
Q218 – The requirement of genuine use of trademarks for maintaining protection.
Q219 – Injunction in cases of infringement of IPRs.

AIPPI Australia will host a Members Forum on the Questions. The idea of the forum is to solicit member input on the draft reports prepared for each question (these drafts will be circulated at the commencement of the Forum and, prior to that, available on our new website, if finalised in time).

The Forum will be held at 5.00pm on Monday 28 March 2011, at:

The Forum will be followed by drinks. If you have not already done so, please contact either Damon or Andrew to confirm your attendance.
